Grant Sutton, M.A.O.M., ACA
Grant Sutton received his Master’s in Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon. His externships in women’s health and pain management were completed at the Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, the oldest university in China dedicated to the study of traditional Chinese medicine. He received his Bachelor of the Arts degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, where he studied literature and architectural history. He completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification from the Yoga Alliance in 2009.
In addition to acute and chronic pain management, Grant has focused primarily on food and environmental sensitivities and allergies. He is one of the only certified practitioners of NAET in the Gulf region, and has worked with a variety of conditions.
Grant grew up in North Carolina, and became interested in acupuncture in his early 20’s when he was living and working in reality television and film in New York City. He knows firsthand how challenging it can be to manage a stressful life, and temptations of living in a city with amazing food. Grant loves helping patients strategize reasonable stress, diet, and exercise modifications.
