Dr. Nereida A. Parada, MD, FAAAAI, FCCP

Dr. Parada graduated cum laude from Princeton University and earned her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York. She completed her Medicine Internship and Residency at University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Parada completed Fellowship training in Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy and Immunology at Boston University School of Medicine. She joined Tulane in 2000 and is currently a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine.

She completed training for Mind-Body Medicine with the Center for Mind-Body Medicine in Washington DC. She is a Board member of Plains-Gulf Region American Lung Association and serves in the Leadership Council of LA ALA. She is a Co-founder and Board member of the Mind-Body Center of LA. She is interested in integrative asthma care, integrating mind-body medicine into clinical practice, and teaching MBM in medical school and hospice. She is listed in Best Doctors, Top Physicians, and Super Doctors.
