Pain Awareness

One of things that our patients commonly come in to our office for is pain.  It seems chronic pain has become a bit of the norm rather than an anomaly.

While medications are the most relied-on source of pain management, they are often just masking the underlying cause.  Part of our mission at Balance Integrative Health is to combine the latest in Western medicine with the wisdom of Eastern medicine to come up with a comprehensive plan for pain management.

According to the American Chronic Pain Association, some of the effective treatments for chronic pain include acupuncture, electrical stimulation devices (e-stim), tai chi, yoga, meditation, biofeedback, guided imagery and even hypnosis.
